Pre-K Curriculum

Pre-K Curriculum Overview

Age Group: 4 to 5 years

Focus Areas: Language & Literacy, Math, Science, Social-Emotional Development, Creative Arts, Physical Development, and Social Skills.

**Daily Schedule**

  • 7:30 AM - 8:30 AM: Arrival and Free Play

    • Activities: Puzzles, blocks, dramatic play, and interactive centers.

    • Focus: Social interaction, problem-solving, and fine motor skills.

 

  • 8:30 AM - 9:00 AM: Morning Circle Time

    • Activities: Greeting song, calendar, weather discussion, and introduction to the day's theme.

    • Focus: Language development, listening skills, and routine.

 

  • 9:00 AM - 9:30 AM: Language & Literacy

    • Activities: Storytime, phonics games, letter recognition, and name writing.

    • Activities: Counting games, patterning, sorting, and basic addition/subtraction with manipulatives.
